This living room was in an empty, but newly renovated 1920s mansion being put on the market by the real estate developer. All art, furniture, and accessories were brought in from our retail shop, Acorn Cottage Style, to suit the character of the house. The large oil painting above the sofa is by Edwinna Brennan. A mix of antiques and contemporary furniture gives a feeling of history but keeps the space feeling new and fresh. The glass base on the lamp on the left echoes the glass coffee table, the Sheraton drum table under it echoes the Sheraton table in the dining nook. The antique mahogany wardrobe was converted to a bar/pantry.
