1922 Mediterranean House

All of the furniture was custom designed and built to accommodate the rooms' many needs. First, it was important to organize and display many valuable books so custom bookcases were built to blend in with room. The orignal furniture design was recreated with custom-made sofas that updated the previous look and maximized the seating required. The glass tables were custom made to "float" in the room and to highlight the heirloom rug's design. Most important was how the heirloom art was displayed in "gallery style" through new lighting, lighter walls, and reduced bookcase size. The stained glass window became a focal point for the room.
