lois2037: Yes to a great mattress!

When we bought our last mattress, we also bought a Sleep Tite mattress pad that is a "...barrier against liquids, dust mites, and allergens."

Within two weeks, one of the cats had an accident on the top sheet. We quickly tore everything off the bed to try to save the new mattress. What we found was a pee spot on the mattress pad but nothing on the underside of the pad or on the mattress.

Splurge on electric radiant heating under any tile, stone, or concrete floor, any countertop people rest their arms on (island or peninsula), and any outdoor surface you would have to shovel snow from.
