I feel the same way. I found most lights did not fit in with the style of the rooms, creating a jarring and ugly overall effect. Sorry! Some lights were nice by themselves, such as the chandeliers, but doubling them up seemed to detract from their beauty!
I like a lot of the rooms (and much prefer mismatched chairs - looks much more considered, thoughtful and high end, matched sets boring and thoughtless), however I didn’t really like any of the lights. For me 17 and 43 were best of a bad bunch.
