“The pops of bright colours add drama to the space. For instance, the teal sofa and the blue abstract rug accentuate the neutral shell in all the right ways,” says Ajmera.

The dining space seamlessly extends out of the living room, perpetuating the latter’s colour and material palette. The wooden table, chairs and storage cabinet are an airy offset to the deep grey of the seats and floor.
“The black and brass chandelier is a modish addition to the restrained setting,” says Ajmera.

The kitchen neighbours the dining room and follows an open-plan layout.
“The subdued hues are in keeping with the other common areas,” Bhavsar says.

“A large sliding door, or moving wall as we like to call it, helps separate the kitchen from the dining room when privacy is favoured in either space,” she adds.
Inside, the vanilla cabinets and marble breakfast counter serve as natural light catchers and lend a sheen to the matte periphery.

Pale rose-pink wall panels, dove-grey furnishings, gilded accents and herringbone flooring project a European-inspired vibe in the master bedroom.
“The ornamental brass sconces and the recessed lighting bring a soothing sense of luxury to the space. The muted colour palette and the wooden textures, as seen here, are the mainstays of the home,” says Ajmera.
A seating area by the window varies between serving as a Zen workstation and a cosy relaxing nook.

The master bathroom takes a leaf from the adjoining bedroom in its grey tiling and brass embellishments.

The guest bedroom is defined by soft browns, by way of wood-toned panelling and parquet flooring.
Mirrors and vertical grooves break the monotony of the smoothly panelled wall. “The hushed grey headboard and the brass lamps reinforce the minimalist-luxe quality of the boudoir,” says Ajmera.
