Good reminder thanks - I suggest being wary of deleting too soon after an event, yes, get rid of the shots of your feet or fingers immediately, but leave it a week or so to do a big purge as you may find hidden gems you have missed as your focus will change.

Be aware that if you put any photos on Facebook they will be scanned with facial recognition software and the information potentially sold. How do you think Facebook can afford to provide a ‘free service’?

This may not bother you but may really upset others who care about their privacy.

Acid-free photo boxes !! Where do I buy them from and do they come in different sizes?

I bought a 24 inch Memento digital photo frame from B&H in New York and hung it in our lounge in Boambee near Coffs Harbour. You can load the frame up to 3,000 images via wifi from your computer and can regulate how often the image changes. It even senses when the lights go out and turns itself off to save on power. In hindsight, as a pro photographer, I should have bought the 36 inch version. Maybe next time!

However, it is not cheap at A$900 but it does eliminate the need to buy photo frames! It arrived in Sydney five days after I ordered it from NY about three years ago.
How I wish that Australian companies could deliver that quickly.
