Architect Ruben da Silva of Brákara Studio describes this Barcelona bathroom as contemporary with pure lines, and minimalist and functional with a bright, industrial flair.
Da Silva sees the vanity as the protagonist of the room. Despite the strong contrasts in the space, the final result is light and elegant. Da Silva suggests that it was this room’s prevailing industrial but warm style that drew the attention to users.

At first glance it’s easy to miss how many space-saving ideas have been incorporated into this calm, Scandi-inspired bathroom by HecticrAt Architects. Clean-lined, uncluttered practicality features in the form of a raised toilet and floating vanity, wall lights and a frameless glass shower. White features and fixtures, including the oval sink, kitkat tiles and toilet, discourage any single element from leaping out visually, yet the tile grouting provides texture and interest.
