The expansive store exhibits a confluence of colours, prints and patterns and is designed to resemble a mini royal palace. Gautam Sinha‘s brand is firmly rooted in Indian origins, where each item is handcrafted as an expression of fine individuality. Inside their Colaba store, it’s easy to lose yourself in the attractive merchandise and pretty vignettes created in different corners, as well as on the mezzanine. The smell of fine leather and striking visuals will pique your interest. Here you will find trays (in different sizes and materials), terrariums, frames, trunks (which are mostly used as home accents) and stationery.

This young, fun, yet rooted brand is the latest go-to destination for many Mumbaikars. From ascending the wooden stairs highlighted with fairy lights, opening the large doors of the store to walking inside the calming space, there’s endless charm here. The store’s design is an ode to its namesake island and has an aesthetic inspired by it. 14. Hafele Design Centre SOBO (Mahalaxmi)
It’s not every day you come across a store where you can see, touch, feel and experience products and fittings in a live environment – the store also boasts of a large cafe where you can sip on some good coffee or tea while you make up your mind about your purchases. The space is specifically designed to showcase the latest cutting-edge fittings. A long list of premium brands are available here, such as Asko, Bertazzoni, Falmec and Liebherr, to name a few; there are bathroom solutions from Webert, Edelbad and Boing, and kitchen fittings from Vauth Sagel and Blum.
