Glass enclosures are a popular choice when it comes designing a sophisticated and functional shower. Whether it’s a tiny washroom or a large one, different types, sizes and designs in enclosures can help cordon off the shower in a practical yet smart manner and integrate the space, making it seem light and bright. Let’s take a look at some examples.
1. In this small bathroom where the vanity, WC and shower are so close together, a glass divider creates an apparently recessed shower enclosure. It stretches between two walls at one end of the bathroom, giving the illusion that the shower is a sizeable area. The sleek glass panels do not visually eat into the space, so the room looks compact yet airy.

2. A single fixed panel forms a half-partitioned glass enclosure that just about covers the functional part of the shower area. This space is shared with one end of the bathtub, so open access to both was needed. A single panel like this is a good option where space is at a premium, and you don’t want a door that swings open, taking up precious floor area.

3. A glass screen helps give the subtlest sense of partition and segregates this slim shower space, created inside an alcove, from the rest of the bathroom. A partition like this looks stylish and can fit outside any shower, offering plenty of flexibility.
4. This long bathroom with a shower and bathtub along one wall shows how a glass partition can seamlessly create two separate, private areas without the worry of visual bulkiness. One end of the enclosure extends onto the surround of the bathtub, providing a small platform for keeping shower essentials or to sit down. The clear glass allows the shimmery mosaic tiles to visibly stand out.

5. A quadrant shower is ideal for this bathroom that’s short on space, making use of a tight corner between vanity and WC. The panels fit snugly within the nook, so no extra area is needed to create a separate shower area. Also, the glass does not reach right up to the ceiling, giving the room a sense of heightened length and space.

6. The enclosure framed in black borrows from the bathroom’s monochrome design theme and helps highlight the shower area. Also, the strong aluminium framing gives sturdiness to the glass. The shower and the vanity are both comfortably spaced apart, giving this room a luxe, spa-like feel.

7. Glass panels, with interesting half-arches meeting at the outer corner, seal in this shower enclosure. It is cosy but not cramped. The skylight and the small window ensure this small den always stays lit up during the day.

8. This fully enclosed shower with extra height divides the bathroom into two, providing a deliciously wide space for long baths. Since there is ample space in this washroom, the hinged door with a stylish handle can easily swing open, giving the user the feeling of luxury.

9. Chic and stylish, this frameless glass enclosure minus the traditional framework looks light and makes the room seem more airy and open. Since light passes through the clear glass without any visual obstruction, it makes the bathroom appear big and spacious. Also, it allows the patterns on the wall behind to standout.
