From apps that organise your notes across multiple platforms to apps that sort your meal planning, handbag organisation, wellbeing and social life, hitting download could be the first step to the new you. Here are seven of our favourites.

Evernote markets itself as ‘your second brain’, and in many ways it may be more efficient than your first one! The app captures, organises and syncs all your notes, ensuring they’re with you whenever you need them. Evernote works as a note-taker, digital personal assistant, pocket notebook and to-do list. I like the sound of that!

2. Mealboard
While beautifully styled recipe books make for a gorgeous display, storing your favourite recipes in digital form just makes sense. The MealBoard app takes things a step further, combining recipe management, meal planning, your supermarket shopping list and pantry management in a single app.
