Why pull out the dandelions when the greens are so healthy for you? If you have bunnies they love the dandelion flowers.

We have ten garden pots along the driveway nicely obscuring the trash and recycling. Early season netting keeps the squirrels from digging out the bean plants. The 24 inch planter height prevents bunny buffet. Deer only occasionally eat what ever they want.....

I had two large Chow/German Shepard mix dogs. They liked to eat dandelion greens as I pulled weeds. Nice to have a little clean up crew! For human consumption they should be early greens. Don't wait till they flower unless you like a bitter taste in your salad.
