Bedrooms need to feel peaceful and relaxing, so good storage is essential to remove any distracting clutter. Most of us opt for a mix of hanging space and shelves or drawers, either built into a closet or in a traditional dresser, but other, more imaginative storage solutions are available. From customised closets to humble secondhand finds, ingenious under-bed ideas to the humble hook, there’s a world of space-saving, life-enhancing bedroom storage out there.

Islands have worked so well in kitchens. Some should be designed for the larger bedrooms.
Did they change the first picture since February? Because in it I see no shoes, nor any description of shoes being stored above the bed. What is everyone seeing that I'm not seeing?
