There is certainly a sense of satisfaction in seeing perfectly lined-up jars of grains or tidy piles of onions and potatoes in and of themselves. However, the best pantries incorporate great design too, and add to the overall look and feel of the kitchen and the home. Whether in a separate room or tucked away in a cupboard or under the stairs, the pantries on this list bring both beauty and functionality.
1. Little Rock, Arkansas, USA

3. Gull Lakes, Minnesota, USA
What we love: The sumptuous finishes. Many readers have asked about the paint colour (Sherwin Williams Grays Harbor) and the tile (hand-painted terra-cotta from Tabarka Studio) in comments. An archway integrates this walk-in pantry into the rest of the kitchen. “The stone veneer makes it feel like an old stone cave-like room with a new house wrapped around it,” Tays says.

If space was no object I would love a butler's pantry complete with butler's sink and dishwasher. Otherwise the Russian pull out cupboards. I have seen these functioning and they are fabulous. Nothing gets hidden in the back.
These pantries don’t seem very useful. More like just another space to decorate. Isn’t a pantry supposed to hold extra food? I also don’t get having to label a see through container when you can see that it stores “pasta”, “ oats”, 😂
@Rita I guess to be consistent with the containers where the contents are not obvious, like baking powder, bicarb, corn flour :)
