Kitchen
Off center accent in vaulted greatroom
I like under-mount sink with ledge for cutting board and for drying rack.
mix of materials is very interesting
I really like this overall. The wood is dark but it's limited and not overbearing. Countertops as light, as is the ceiling.
With the right mix of light countertops and ceiling/walls, wood could work on the cabinets and floor.
This would be "too modern".
Another example of light kitchen, dark island that works for me.
The wood and white walls/windows/ceiling work here. Cabinets with glass fronts (right side) are nice but that's tricky.
Solid glass backsplash, WOW this is cool
Light cabinetry, dark island. Light countertop, I like this. The walls provide some warmth.
I thought I wanted a wood kitchen but now I'm not sure. Not really a fan of this. Granted the cabinets are meh.
Island doesn't have to match cabinets
A bit cold overall but I could see the island this color (dark wood) with a light countertop
Different shades of wood and a light countertop can be very warm and inviting. Backsplash is refined but gives a pop of color.
Dark island could work with light top
Backsplash and island countertop are unique but in the same color family for continuity
Interesting contrast with unique darker island, and backsplash carries up the wall
We like under mount sinks. must be large enough to fit large pans/pots. no dividers
Just to see what a vaulted ceiling might look like. Greg would prefer no exposed beams or boards
We like the mix of materials / color here. Not so much the rustic floor, but the white and lab stone mix counter is kind of cool.
Mix of colors/materials is pleasing
