MOVING to 601 Penn
thinking of options as we reconsider USM in study & bedrm
back of Kent's desk in STUDY. A MUST!!
KEEPING IT SIMPLE.... lovely
...somewhat our idea...
Wassilly x2, low profiles
Smaller rooms (this is in EU, by the way). BIG element furniture. Long draperies. Herringbone pattern floor (yeah... Iknow)
Remember of place artifacts and art books
Take these planters and think thru which others for the terrace. We're all set on that frong
Still a look I like so much. Now enhances in using our beautiful mirror, returned to a place with us.
maybe shorten the units w/ Kent's desk...maybe add a little wheelie component
unexpected elements: narrow table. wider floor plank width. clean clear color
HOW ABOUT THIS Color Scheme
Orange credenze. Clean floor area. Our furniture... OPEN. Good...do you like it?
Here we go…. Mirror proper on floor. Very modern furniture. I like the effect so much?
Velvet-type upholstery is nice
the sweep of the curtains... again
the LAMP.. in the dining area on counter
Interesting PENDANT LIGHTiNG for kitchen ... from EST #40 issue (I have this in my iBooks for more info
draperies... full across walls and windows
More terrazzo but also LOUVERED doors for closets or ...
VELVET ... we like it. And thinking about what might work if we keep the existing oriental rug in the living room...
51--06-BEB_ITALIA-HARRY-01B.jpg...this is the one we like so much ..but NB does the small 3-seater include the extra pillow? IT MUST!
yessss. plant. calm. beige...i’m liking this palette more & more these days
I'm thinking we will not wall mount/reuse the lights we have at 13th St (I want to reserve them for elsewhere). This floor-standing option is interesting
TWO things: 1. Choose the SAME ceiling fixture throughout for general room lighting w/ good light spread. Find one that works the same way for us. Use it similarly. 2. Good medium stain floor throughout
i do love this
Hmmm. Instead of a chandalier over the dining table... how about our articulated lamp (now over the couch). How interesting.
The w/d area…. Cleaned up
not quite but... I find the form of this sofa good. Firmly upholstered-in-place bottom cushions w/ separate back cushions. Wish I knew the source...
hmm. How would I get this effect....light light then grey darker walls
Yes. Remove any walls still there...open open kitchen.
My pantry fave but on two levels... good idea
Imagine....w/ the Denny chair...home
thinking about.... I think what I am drawn to here is the idea of the 'not white' cabinets but also so contemporary...funny, for I do like the pulls in our current kitchen. AND I especially like the pendant lights at the counter and, of course, the large drum-shade pendant lamp over the table. Just thinking of...options
Silverware caddy....IF it's got style....Hmm
this is a very nice grey... of course, high ceilings always enhance, don't they. But white ceiling, white trim, windows lighted.. maybe we could achieve the same results in the bedroom. I think toning down the bedroom is a good idea w/ lightness throughout the rest of the apartment.
Tiled walls... w/ little 2x2 tiles...in kitchen
A traditional setting in a NARROW room...w/ COUCH... Imagine 'something' in place of the mantel... what works here is TEXTURE. Not our style but something here appeals w/o being too traditional. Maaaybe
a version of the glass wall/door partition... also, nice floor color and pattern..
we like this introduction of tan...ish
The pendant... however, in less than 10 ft clgs, it would not do. But the feeling is lovely
I'm looking at chairs that are upright, for me, yet cushy. Wassily slants down too much. WINDY is good, however
hmmm. Not really what we've been thinking about - more lke our current apartment on 13th Street... maybe I just need to reVIEW that to put another spin in the BASEMENT in my mind.
I LIKE this towel bar. Have not seen it before...
this appeals. Looking at sleek contemp. vs more comfy pieces (Venice influence...).. so this stands for SLEEK. What do you think of it?

think about color. From IKEA.IT
