Giant Alliums. Love.
YES!! We are a succulent loving family! We must have a succulent garden figured into our plan!
Not sure what this is, camellia? A rose? Although I would like a primarily white theme, I would like a fuscia pink camellia japonica---somewhere. Makes great cut flowers!

Love the juxtaposition here of the looseness of the hydrangeas and the hardness of the hedge. I wouldn't want it everywhere, but picking one stand out spot, may be neat.
Not a fan of this hardscape
Great palette!
I like this backyard. Privacy! Looks private and a great place to relax. I love all the elements coming together: grass, hardscape, sitting areas, porch.....
NOT a fan of this. Not sure why...maybe too smooth and uniform?
Like the coping here, but don't know the material. Also like the use of grass near the pool and around the hardscape.

Like keeping all in the same palette. I prefer grays/browns/ivory Like how there is no mortar seen on the rock wall and the chimney. All works together with the pool coping and paths.
I like the clean lines of this and the way the porch and grass, meet. Pops of boxwoods here and there. It's very understated, but works because it makes the porch the focal point.
This is the same porch and backyard as earlier picture in this album. I am a fan of having grass brought closer to the house to soften up all the hardscape. Chris is not as onboard with this idea. Perhaps there is a way to marry the two.
Lighting on steps is important for us. We like how these are fairly obscure, except when you need them lit. Again, like that the hardscape is in same palette range.
Consistent palette. I used this picture as some of the inspiration for our back porch.
Like the curved "tamed chaos" to this border. We would ask for white flowers in keeping with the White themed garden.
Ideas for rock wall and steps
