95 Dearbourne Reno: Basement, 2nd, 3rd Floors
painted shelves add depth
may be good for kids room to have box shelves to save on space
like the desk by the window
may be a good space saver for Samara
Looking at this for the third floor - the light seems to pull in
Like the door
This may be the space for the middle room. feels a bit cluttered but bright..
Could think about one wall of wallpaper in a couple of rooms ...would need to really get the right ones for kids room
I think this is similar to what SJ is looking for
maybe a windowseat looking over the atrium - definitely want it on the third floor
I like the energy of this room - some bright colours on calm backdrop
I like the stairs
I like this style of doors with the 5 vertical windows
LIke this built in seat - thinking of something like it for the third floor front window.
Wow! Amazing skylight
I like this idea of having separate spaces in the basement where the kids can have their stuff and we can have stuff separately. Not sure if the basement has enough room for this without it seeming too crammed in.
Another interesting way of maximizing space
If the pillars in the basement have to stay this is kind of an interesting use for them
Another example of decent storage that also serves double function of seating.
interesting use of maximizing storage
Interesting space saving ideas of work surfaces that can be hidden or platform to better use vertical space.
I like the lightness of this basement - we only have a few small windows so colour and furniture will need to be light.
like the sliding barn door - not sure where this might work
Built in shelves and storage will be helpful in kids' bedrooms since floor space will be limited.
open shelving as alternative to linen closet - better for guest bath - and if we have less storage space
half wall to hide toilet - but not married to this
Integrated bench seat in shower Don't like the tiles here but the bench in shower
organizers to maximize storage efficiency
overhead protection of some kind for the 3rd floor balcony provides protection from elements, provides some shade, etc.
Nice built in bench on either side as space saver to avoid cluttering small balcony. Would LOVE to be able to open up 2/3 of the wall that divides the indoor/outdoor space.
This is okay but previous designs are better - this may reflect the size more accurately
Wires are interesting alternative to glass barrier/rail system. French doors and large flanking windows would allow for more affordable alternative to full glass wall, or accordion doors.
Like the way glass is integrated into door and surround. We want that room to have as much light as possible
Accordion doors permit more fully opening up to outdoor space and breeze to flow through indoor space. - probably crazy expensive
Even french doors (vs sliding or glass doors) works well to maximize light. Not sure whether R-value would be sufficient to keep space warm in colder months.
Interesting use of floor to ceiling door and maximizing glass to keep airy.
Nice use of glass barrier to avoid making space feel closed in.
like the wood accents and the tub. Seems serene - would be lovely for third floor bathroom
