Master Bathroom remodel
Hmmm... we could have a mirror on the back of the bathroom door, which would reflect the outdoors. It means no towel bars there. This is an ugly and ill-fitting mirror, but it is a thought. I think we could have both a mirror on back of door, and towel bars on the wall, like we do in the guest bedroom bath.
Like the small scale, graceful look. Bottom shelf could be useful too. This is sort of what I had in mind. Not sure how easy to shave the legs to work on slant of pan.
Like the glass wall, the bench, and the recessed space for shampoos, etc. I like the simplicity of the color scheme! Most of the benches I see in these photos are on the side. I'm still lukewarm about built-in bench at end--but it solves the problem of having to adjust legs on a wood stool, and could be another location for a fern.
Glass block shower wall
Note towel storage and pull out drawers. Love the drawers instead of doors with deep recesses.
Note open shower - no door and recessed lights in ceiling. Lights helpful to see.
Wow, love this. Wonder if it is possible to put a narrow enclosure around end of shower outside with plants inside. Anything's possible with money.
Another way glass block could be used (smaller openings, not the big window). In the right setting.
Love the colors/feel. Of course, the view is nice, but not possible for us. Yes on colors/feel; and agree, view not possible.
An example of glass block in exterior shower wall. So do you want glass window in shower, cost worth it to you?
Like the colors, clear shower door, natural light at top of ceiling. I LOVE the simplicity and color balance of this room. But this color wood then contrasts with the dark wood of our bedroom.
Love the treeline at top. Yes, an alternative to a window like ours.
Interesting use of frosted glass and skylight - in PV! Frosted glass, at least here, doesn't grab me.
May be a maintenance nightmare, but interesting view above. Agree.
Nice clean look. But a little too minimalist or stark for me.
Not sure our ceilings are high enough, but love even 1" of view into trees from the shower. Sounds like this is on your must list?
Love the clear door and colors (but would want shower only).
I like the use of glass block on the outside wall (maybe 2-4 roows in shower to create light?) Maybe: sounds like window or glass in shower is a must for you.
Like the wall color, dark cabinetry and feel of shower. Agree: like the simplicity and balance. Glass to ceiling the one guy cautioned us against.
Also interesting wall to create partial wall next to toilet. Looks bulky to me, and maybe in a wider room than we have.
Don't like the finishes, but a nice way to semi-wall off the toilet without making the room feel small and cramped. Agree.
Like the lightness of door and color of tile. Agree.
Like the half-wall - not for our shower but potentially next to toilet. Could be. Maybe we need to reconsider how far out the pony wall comes?
This light feeling is great. Like the bench too. Feeling, yes; bench, hmmm.
Like the lights and mirrors. Yes. I think we need to think carefully about color of wood--darker to match furniture?... or lighter to give a lighter feel to room?
Nice seat. Yes, I like the non-box look!
Nice frameless shower door. Agree--and I like the continuity of floor tile in room and shower pan.
Like the feel of this shower door with a door, but not the color. Agree.
Interesting...a clear sliding shower door. Yes, although curb-less introduces design and construction challenges.
Like the color on right of this shower wall. Looks too gray to me.
Wow - look what clear glass shower and full mirror behind long vanity does to bring light into this room. Yes, I've thought full mirror has that plus--but I've heard you say the look is "dated," and we'd have to rely on drawers, not medicine cabinets--but maybe we'd have enough drawers?
Too busy and I don't like the colors, but I do like the long, clean feel of the double sink area and large mirror is interesting. Yes, too busy, and see my previous comments about big mirror.
Hmmm... this could be less busy, but I like the functionality of the bench, the wand alternative and the build-in niches. Yes, less busy! And yes, interesting alternative to built-in or separate wood bench!
Don't like the colors at all, but like the general feel, shape of the cabinetry. I agree.
Interesting laundry hamper pull outs plus mirrored doors above. Hmm, a mirrored (narrow!) door?
Interesting fold-down bench - would be better at short side of shower opposite shower head in our space. Yes, agree, a good alternative to either bulky build-in or movable stool?
I like the look of a long counter, although ours is not as long as this. Agree on all.
Here is a better picture of the light, airy color and feel of this room with a clear shower door too. Agree on feeling.
I am only showing this because I like the like, airy feeling of the colors. Yes, agree on feeling.
Like the clear shower and built in niches. Would also like a small bench at end. The rest is not appealing.
Like lights. Also like framed mirrored med cabinets.
