Kitchens
Brian - considerably more expensive, but nice stools.
Brian - not the dark wood, but stools like these?
Brian - basically just a placeholder at this point for the idea.
Brian - not divided, and there are likely similar and cheaper options out there, but versatility of this kind of sink is appealing.
Brian - possible color scheme.
Brian - would definitely want wood tones and/or colors to break up the white and gray, but nice handles to complement the stainless.
Brian: open layout. I like the way the countertop is created by the wooden slab (though I don't suppose that'd give us enough elevation).
Brian - this kind of coloring I suppose could be interesting for a kitchen, especially as a potential "reversal" of exterior color scheme.
Brian - like the other one: nice wood color in the island. Nice colors overall actually. I seem to prefer hoods in the island when there's not as much of an elevated portion.
Brian - another color possibility (white cabinets and gray countertops, with warm wood).
Catherine - I think I prefer cabinets with handles. Too glossy. Cool blue color though! Brian - This for me was more about color combinations.
Brian - another example of gray/black with white and wood (though of course I think we're going to want wood flooring).
Catherine - like the handles and color scheme. Too much dark backsplash. Brian - for our house yes, too dark. Perhaps if color were reversed, would be better. I was drawn here to lime-green cushions: exploring ways to add splashes of contrasting color to various rooms.
Catherine - I really like the contrast of the wood and flooring. Neat lights. Brian - gray/walnutish contrast is the in thing! Mockery aside though, since we probably won't be into wood countertops, and since we seem to have an interest in gray and white cabinetry, we should be looking at island and flooring as ways to get this kind of dramatic wood color into things.
Catherine - hate the smooth glossy cabinets. Brian - useful though as a guideline, since it approximates our floorplan (unlike most photos on here). Also, while I don't like this color at all, I think that some gloss cabinets are nice in gray and especially in white (when the gloss contrasts nicely with wood accents)
Don't like this as well as the last one...but still a nice color scheme, especially with black windows and white countertops.
