Idea to make the pub area cabinetry more modern. Wide drawers to reflect vertical lines (or doors that pull down to open flat), tall cabinetry placed asymmetrically).
Pub area: random cabinetry mixed with open shelves.
Love the randomness of the shelf shapes.
Stair detail: edge-less steps. Is this feasible because of the bookcases?
This has dimensional tile for the surround, but it just starts at the edge of the fireplace frame.
Here the tile dies into a solid surround.
