1683 SEHG Lake House
Fireplace that doesn't take up too much wall space.
Glass doors again
Nice use of small space
Added this just to talk about where to hang blinds but still let in light
? interesting glass doors as transition from indoor/outdoor space
Don't like the angled wall
Like the concept of a shade for large window
Like the railing
? screen porch
Like the tall window by the staircase
Like the lighting... ideas for the non-lake side of the house
Nice lights in the steps
Interesting ceiling and "open wall"
Interesting sink!
Like the staircase
Like the balcony off the bedroom
Don't like cement retaining wall
Nice deck
? roofdeck
Open with high ceiling
like the mix of wood, metal, stone. also very open.
Open space... also like the metal railing (add bit of industrial flair to contemporary style)
Sarah likes this entryway into the house
Feels open with ability to "see through", yet with defined spaces. Also like the few steps for the tiered effect.
Varied roof lines in a contemporary style
Another view of non-lake side house facade - but would consider steel/metal railings instead of wood
Sarah likes the cascading exterior stairs and the ? concrete... and how the color blends into the landscape Rajan doesn't like it as much
Consideration for the non-lake side of the house
Nice mix of exterior materials, including horizontal wood with varying colors
Bit less contemporary, but warm looking with many windows
Like the roof overhang and the relatively narrow fireplace footprint.
Like the big windows and the ceiling
Given our narrow property, an example of part of the house facing the lake and part of the house further back and tiered... SARAH REALLY LIKES THIS (CAPITAL LETTERS!) - especially the steel framing of the front facade of the house Every time we look at this, we both really like it!!! Seems to mix a bit of "industrial" with the contemporary.
Nice "wings" to the house
S likes this floor - red birch.
like this - open to main floor a level up from lake... also like horizontal balcony railings
more contemporary, big windows, use of natural wood.
R likes stair, cabinets too simple? Ceiling wood variation (color/grain) is nice, too monochromatic with cabs & floor.
Interesting tiered landscape
