20 OTT But Seriously Sexy High-Tech Home Improvements
Install state-of-the-art technology in your home and become the envy of all your neighbours
Computerised technology in the home was once reserved for heroes (like Batman and James Bond) or wealthy billionaires after a bit of fun (Bill Gates, perhaps?). Now, however, installing a motorised this or an automatic that is much more accessible to the greater population. Sure, it’s still expensive, but the technology is there and no longer seen as something that will exist in the far-off future.
If you look closely enough, high-tech can exist in literally any room of the home, too. The only boundary is the extent of your imagination (and possibly your bank balance). Personally, I’d love a motorised wardrobe like the one Cher uses in Clueless. You know, the one that rotates at the press of a button and even matches her outfits? Best. Invention. Ever.
You’ll notice these ideas range from functional to the overtly playful (hint: look out for the water slide). There are even some extravagant installations that look more like a scene from Entourage than a space in someone’s everyday abode.
