This roof deck is much larger than what we will have, but I would love to have planters or some kind of growing space on the deck.
Like the windows on the little deck room
Like the indoor-outdoor feeling of opening onto the ground level deck
Like the built-in seating on the deck
Like the storage
Like the cement back splash and floors complementing one another
Like the seating option
We like the storage shown here
I like the seating options at the island
Is there any way to include vegetation on the deck as in this photo?
I like these bookshelves
I like this built in (?) desk and additional file cabinets on the other side (although they look like conventional drawers, rather than filing cabinets here).
I like this desk space as another way of creating an additional desk to lay out papers, since my standing desk does not have room to do so.
I don't know whether these are sliding doors and an interior window, but I like the idea of opening up my office as much as possible, with the large window on one side and the lack of a fixed wall on the other.
Probably impractical and expensive, but I love this window for my office.
This is a nice corner desk for me to lay out papers, since I don't have room on my standing desk.
This is probably larger than my office will be, but I like the book shelves and the built-in desk space under the windows. I have a standing desk, but it it taken up almost entirely by two 37-inch iMacs, so I could really use another desk space to lay out papers and manuscripts.
I like this idea, as it would give me a way to sit and read more comfortably than at the desk, and because it would give us an extra bed in a pinch. The bed would need to be farther away from the desk, however, because I have a standing desk and need more room behind me as a result.
Like the Asian aesthetic and indoor/outdoor feeling
We like the indoor/outdoor feeling of this space
We like the privacy that a courtyard creates
Like the concrete floors
Bill may have added this, but I don't know why
I think Bill may have added this as an example of adding a contemporary back to an existing structure.
Bill may have added this as an example of a wall of books
Maybe this would be a way to have the deck cut around one of the existing trees in the back yard
If we end up with a walkout basement, something like this might offer a way to still have a deck coming off the kitchen or living area.
Like the skylight, shower/tub in same space and good natural light
We are perhaps interested in these bathrooms with the shower and bath in the same space; like the window and natural light but would want privacy
Again, the tub is too big for Noelle, but we like the color contrast and simplicity of this bathroom, as well as the natural light
We like the natural light in this half bath and the clean lines--no clutter
This tub is too big for Noelle, but we like the shower and tub in one space with the skylight and the glass wall--and the zen feeling to the space
Like the potential (perhaps) of a "U" configuration so we can both work in the kitchen without getting in each others' way.
We like all the natural light in this kitchen
Also like the simplicity of this kitchen
