Love the floors, laid on an angle. Love the cabinet color with the floors. And ah! The light!!!

What if a buffet like this had the kitchen sink mounted in the middle?

This corner pantry layout is similar to what I'm thinking. Maybe the refrigerator and cabinets could be built in under the stairs, if we decide to put a switchback set in the entryway? That would add floorspace back into the kitchen.

I saw an old fridge like this ---- except much, much smaller--- at a flea market (didn't buy), but I like the idea of incorporating antiques into the kitchen cabinetry. That's the FarmHouse style emerging!

I love that arched doorway with the asymmetrical stonework in wall.

A brick and stone archway would be a good way to separate kitchen from great room, while sticking with open concept. Or maybe such an archway(s) could partition off dining area?

I saw an old refrigerator like this (but smaller) at a local flea market. I thought it would be so neat to turn it into cabinets and hang it with coordinating cream (new) cabinetry. I love the idea of incorporating old things and making them new again!

Love the window over the sink and the lighted "decorative" cabinet space. Also the cream cabinets mixed with wood. (Except, I would mix vintage wood cabinets with the cream cabinets. )
