9180 Belted Kingfisher
Hard to tell but a simple roof with notches or cutbacks to match wall changes

Like the opposing slopes without being gables. Some interesting ideas on the exterior front elevation. Don't like the interior.
Q
Photo
Slopes too low. Too cold looking inside and out. Roof lines unattractive.
Q
Photo
Like the simple roof lines.
Q
Photo
Simple roof line with right slope but narrow building.
Q
Photo
Not a bad way to break up a long roof slope. Don't like the front elevation.

No. Ugly

No, ugly
Q

No, ugly
Q
Photo
No, roof makes it look massive
Q

Very appealing. Wood and elevations. But we don't have the ability to do such low slopes.
Q
Photo
No, looks too chopped up.
Q

Front of old house on 40th. Bridge to front door over dry creek bed. Too plain in hindsight.
Q

Side view of old house from north.

This house is 2 doors down from our lot. We like the northwest contemporary style, and the wood and stone on the exteriors. We don't like the inverted roof.
Q
Photo
Like multiple roof sections and large overhangs at side & back. Don't like the steel beams. Prefer wood or glu-lam.
Q
Photo
Love the look and feel of this house, although too much painted surfaces at top and too modern inside, not enough wood.
Q
Photo
Love the color of the decking and the siding.
Q
Photo
Like the upswept roof and all the windows. The red window frames you told me about are cool, although I think we would prefer a forest green or chocolate brown color. Also like the natural siding.
Q
Photo
Like the roof overhang and stacked windows on the view side. Looks like there may be cascading roof lines. Roof slope too steep.
Q
Photo
Like the use of wood here. The simple two roof slopes are attractive. Also we like the translucent garage doors, but not the white frames. The prefab rock is not so attractive. We prefer real rock if possible but as accents not all over.
Q
Photo
Not so keen anymore about flat roofs, but again, like the use of wood and large overhangs.
Q
Photo
Like the wooden beams and columns and large roof overhangs. The prefab rock is not appealing.
Q
Photo
Like the wood roof beams, columns including slanted columns and roof overhangs. Front door is weird.
Q
Photo
Like the garage door and the front door with sidelights.
Q
Photo
We really like the look and feel of this house shown here and the next 2 photos. This is the street side that also looks over a lake. We would imagine this to be more like the side looking over the ocean.
Q
Photo
The front door and sidelight is cool. Also like the wood framed windows. And we want to have all natural vegetation around the house, no grass.
Q
Photo
Like the cascading sloped roofs as well as the deck above the garage. Could we do something like this on the water side to come down from a high roof ridge.
Q
Photo
Simple roof lines, exposed beams and columns. Don't like the shakes as siding.
High ceilings, use of wood
