Riccardo Caracciolo, a talented Home Improvement Design Services provider based in Orvieto, a small village in Umbria, Italy shares this charming image of a farmhouse in Maremma, Italy (in Tuscany). What's not to like in this photo? Beautiful color combinations of warm whites, yellows and medium brown wood tones. This authentic Tuscany farmhouse kitchen would make a great design for anyone creating Spanish style, French style or Tuscany themed interior design for their kitchen. I also like the antique kitchen table with bentwood chairs and how the top was converted to marble- a great idea for a hybrid of both an island, work space and dine in kitchen seating. I also like the unique cabinet design with the fabric fronts, the plate shelf under the upper cabs, the cool scroll work on the cabinets. Very cool project Riccardo. Amazing work!
Laura Rosenthal of Del Mar, California shares a Spanish style home design there just outside of San Diego, CA. This Spanish kitchen caught my eye for the elegant range hood design to goes so well with Spanish style interior design. The special 3 dimensional wall treatment at the top of the wall is creative, unique and adds to the custom look and feel of this very high end home in Southern California. The pass through window at the kitchen sink is also very cool for everyday use, and being poolside, I can see how this arrangement would be really fun for family and guests, alike. Sit near the pool outside, but be engaged with the cook in the kitchen at the same time. The designers also changed it up and introduced a dining table with chairs and a bench for another touch of warming up this family gathering spot. Nice job!

The Kitchen Countertop to Ceiling backsplash tile layout is what really caught my eye on this beautiful kitchen project by Katrina Nelson, an Interior Designer based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Katrina's project is actually a Farmhouse kitchen design, but I think the unique design combinations she used could easily translate into a Spanish style home. I particularly like the mix of woods that were also used in the project, like the oversized sit at island. Great job!
A Lilach Cohen project in Poblenou, the trendy neighborhood in Barcelona, Spain- a place I can’t wait to get back to and walk around again. For Californian’s designing Spanish style interiors, definitely check out Lilach’s entire project on her Houzz page. Lots of unique and interesting ideas from an Interior Designer based in Spain. I saved several images of this project into my various Spanish style design ideabooks, but this particular one for the embedded Spanish tiles into the wood floor, and also the really efficient design of the kitchen itself. Villa di pregio in Ragusa has a very unique kitchen set up worth having a second look. I love the design of this oversized, round top alcove with it's many interesting details. The way the niche and lower "cabinet" built-in unit is clad in specialty tile, and the way the designers incorporated a floating shelf above. Giancarlo Tinè is a professional photographer who captured the shot, and he is based in Ragusa, the Southeast Sicily region in Italy. Giancarlo, Thanks for sharing the project! Jeff
Spanish Tiny House kitchen ideas abound within this photo I discovered recently on Houzz. I like the nice mix of old with the new... an antique wood table as an island coordinates nicely with the extra thick open wood shelving and the wood floor. The contemporary Spanish deco tiles chosen for the stove backsplash also have a throw back element to them and match nicely with the dark blue cabinets. Photo was shared by Heidi Caillier, an Interior Designer based in San Francisco, California as well as in Seattle, Washington.

Constance et Aurélie of CLERMONT-FERRAND France shares a project on Houzz France. I wanted to add this image to my Santa Barbara Home Design ideabook for simple Spanish style kitchens because of the cool, full barrel ceiling in this narrow galley style kitchen. The extra tall feel to the french doors was created with an unusually tall set of transom windows above them, which is also unique and special for this space.

Looking for the perfect fabric, or bar stools for a Spanish kitchen design can be daunting. I wanted to add Alexandra Rae designs to my Simple Spanish Style Kitchens ideabook for those that are seeking elegant design solutions for creating comfortable kitchen spaces within their projects. Architects, Interior Designers, Kitchen Designers and homeowners will appreciate the thought that went into this Pacific Palisades, California project. Although billed as a Farmhouse, I believe the subtle blue and cream decorative tiles on the backsplash, the walnut counter tops and the soft white cabinets all work really well together and these materials could be incorporated into Spanish or French style projects quite easily.

Rehabilitación vivienda Barcelona shot by Txema Gerardo of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain. This interesting and original new design pattern in Spanish wall and floor tiles caught my eye, and I immediately thought of a couple of projects I would like to use them in. Contemporary meets Old World, the design is reminiscent of patterns from the past, but also a modern contemporary spin that makes it so successful. Thank you Txema for capturing the shot.
New, super modern luxurious Spanish kitchen ideas could be had by studying this high end project by Gonterman Construction, a custom home builder and remodeler based in Newport Beach, California. For California architects, interior designers, kitchen designers or homeowners looking for unique combinations of materials that will add warmth and character to your kitchen design, I thought this image really helps encompass that. Notice how Karen pulled the brown tones in the wood window above the sink, and brought them into the backsplash tile. I also like how the designer wrapped the window opening in tile and planned the space for a thick stone window shelf, matching the countertops. Very cool.
