In addition to concepts below, want to consider:
1. Addition of second D/W
2. Ability to plumb for instant hot water
3. Should we consider refrigerator and/or warming drawer?
4. Place for wine storage?
5. Need to have discussion about storage solutions - pull-out towel rack; toaster/coffee placement or storage; mixer concealed shelf; spice/bottle pull outs; pantry structure; etc.
6. Need to have discussion about lighting - different approach in dining room; pendants over island; recessed; undercabinet lighting/plugs
7. I don’t think it’ll be worth it to rework structure to accommodate larger windows between breakfast room and pool

I like the coloring of this kitchen. I like the blue/grey tones and think they would work well with the living/formal living areas. I like the antique brick around the range, but I don't like the fact that the range is "captive" inside the brick chimney. One idea would be to use brick and timber and square it up so you didn't have gaps between hood and cabinets. Seems like the island front + what's over the range are the most important design concepts, because that's what you'll see from the living area.
I like this range surround in concept. I presume that side panels are for spices/bottles.
