Slovin Kitchen Ideas
I really like the simplicity of the cabinets and the pewter knobs. The tile adds a really nice color accent to the area without completely overwhelming it. And then the glass cabinet doors provide that lightness. Really like this overall look. I might not have the glass cabinets on the same wall as the decorative tile (too much for the eye in one place), but otherwise, this look is light and happy.
I like the color of the quartz counter tops - easy to keep looking clean. I also like the use of some glass cabinet doors to break up the look with some color, but question placement as they compete with the hood. Do NOT like that taupe tile! I like the idea of mixing white and beige however, but they missed here in a big way.
I like the clean look and lighting under the cabinets. It's warm yet contemporary. I also like the lack of busy-ness with the tile and the fact that it covers the entire wall between the countertops and the cabinets.
I think this minimal hood style with cabinets above might work best in our kitchen. That said, if we have to stay with stainless steel, let's keep the size minimal.
