built-ins
big furniture-like cabinet coffee/bar
coffee/wine bar - fridge drawers - multi-use
mix of coffee and wine bar
similar lay-out; want more clean wall
could this be the right scale? or does the plain fireplace surround just not compete w/ the tv?
need to avoid the fireplace dominating the tv where we'll be watching tv more often than admiring the fire --proper scale?
small, simple, doesn't dominate the room. too plain on top?
traditional, still appealing, but is the mantle too big to compete with a tv?
who knew they had a wide-screen at Stonehenge?
do we frame-out the tv?
the surround is too big and too big for this room, but could this style work to coordinate with the brick wall nearby?
has an appealing scale, but is mantle too rustic?
again, tv area looks boring, mantle and after thought. lacks appeal as a focal point
similar sized space we have to work with? Too much stone
something about this makes me cringe… no character, too boxy, air vent above?
the tv area looks boring/bland. what can we do to avoid that w/o doing stone all the way up?
do we like the idea of a mostly stone enclosure? seems to make the fireplace subtle, but not too wimpy
scale of fireplace & surround could work for us
similar idea to ours location-wise; mantle too dominating of space, too white
high ceiling, windows on both sides. like ours would be if in back.
ceiling much higher, but similar idea (?)
open to rustic/natural wood mantle idea - not too overdone, though
handsome built-ins fill the space nicely - good scale
too small a fireplace?
