The blue walls here say Caribbean Sea. This hue is an inexpensive way to achieve an island feel, even in a room with many traditional elements. The repurposed sofa and chairs are on trend and have long been a hallmark of Caribbean-inspired design. Tip: This bold black and white striped sofa (same basic style as LT sofa) would make a statement in any home. It works here because it anchors a large wall — a key element in a well-designed space.
KITCHEN — Larger-than-usual subway backsplash tile (4 x 8" instead of 3 x 6") plays with the scale of the kitchen wall. "I like that the tile covers the whole," says Black. * Cabinets painted in "Sweet Pear" by Benjamin Moore. Subway tile is a budget-wise choice and its white is reflective, another plus. The green complliments the colors in BEDRM LT. *
They are groovy and the orange picks up on an accent color I want to use with the Blue/Green/Wood palette.
Maya Romanoff is known for her extraordinary and decadent wallcoverings that resemble crushed glass or crystal. This range also has a metallic element. It's not for everyday spaces, but if you consider it as art, it would be stunning for a small area of a master suite. Dimensions: 4" x 4" -- wallpaper | eclectic

This is a great office set-up.
Love the classic but lived-in look, so Parisienne.
Homemade headboards are best.
350 sqft apartment
a quiet space -- note how end of room with kitchen is almost all white and so is the sofa -- the sofa becomes the dividing point -- subdued colors and patterns "rock" the other end of the room
