outside
Inside outside connection. Living and Dining area. (Function, not style really in this photo.) Clear overhang is kind of cool but looks expensive. :). I LOVE zero entry. Could my eating area be the “zero entry (elevated as theirs is? And then I use furniture or something else to create privacy on that side. Like when I’m sitting low by tree, the elevated portion of my area would function as a great privacy screen in and of itself. Also - room to do yoga. Room to throw toys. Pass through on the kitchen!
SO MANY THINGS. The porch is flat. The skylight. The multi function (NOT the furniture.) The colored door (seems yellow - planning to do that as a frame to a full light door. FEARS this would cut me off from nature. NEED to think PHASE ONE (patio that won’t kill my tree or me. Or break the bank. But allows for expansion potentially?
Nothing stylistically but VERY IMPORTANT. The zero entry ISH from inside to outside. When I’m carrying trays I and having to clear the door I don’t feel safe always - one step and I’m tumbling down three stairs. I need something that I can age into. Safely move from in/out with bags, trays, etc. doing that all the time - how to make the safest?
Could this be a great compromise? The cover makes it more usable. It’s a long rectangle. It’s optimizing inside and out. Curtains or screens could be added? Allows for vertical throwing. Could have ceiling fan for more usability. Protect furniture. Can this be done on a low budget? Could there be a skylight to look at the tree while lying down? Where’s the yoga pad?
Covered but still places to sit and look up?
The dark with the white. AHHH! Love.
Why can’t we have these in MN?
A pass through for ease of living/eating outside. Dark siding on white. Fence dark? House dark?
Covered feels like another room. Curtains pulled for privacy or could be screens.
Shading for privacy? Office access. Indoor/outdoor connection
Comfy seating. Couch/chairs
Does a partial cover work for privacy?
This plant
Private spa like lounging
Patio tiles - but how mow? Don’t like versions with rocks
Cover for privacy?
Pavers/patio
Feels super accessible on many levels. Dark exterior. Mid-century pavers. White full lite door. Stones and grass
Concrete mid century feel
Privacy and shelter. Glass or portions that allow light and star gazing? Too much. Also love dark house and light trim. And patio vs. fence. This feels accessible to what i have now.
It feels like a private enclave. Protection of a screen without the screen
Pavers with rocks instead of grass. What about turf?
Brightly colored door - walkway pavers
Raised border defining patio area - creating some separation between yards. More cozy and private
Large blocks
Close placement of tile
Wood and metal mix
Lushness but modern
