Kitchen Cabinets
This highly customized kitchen was designed in such a way to make use of as much space as possible in an elegant and modern way. The combination of walnut veneer cabinets and buttermilk caesarstone countertops creates contrast in a subtle and eye catching way. The angled island adds dimension and intrigue to the design, as well as creates a solution for seating at the island.
Cabinets. To add airiness to the kitchen, Nepacena put translucent glass fronts on a few upper cabinets. The material allows you to somewhat hide what’s behind the doors while still visually breaking up all the cabinetry. The rest of the cabinets are made of walnut. Pro tip: The cabinets don’t reach all the way to the ceiling to give a little breathing room and add a sense of height.

Wow, good eye and great question. This is vertical grain white oak with ceruse finish. We relied heavily on great craftspeople to get this desired effect. In general, any wood that is not too soft and has relief graining can have a ceruse finish. It's CONCEIVABLE that sand blasting may even help lift the grain on certain species. We reviewed a number of samples from the carpenter to tune in what we wanted to see, and we would recommend you do the same! David Heide Design The base cabinets are a ceruse light gray finish and the upper cabinets are a ceurse white finish
