Love the patterns and textures in this room; also the tones but feel there needs to be a more stand out item/area. I can see that you're combining sitting and eating areas - I like them individually but not combined in the same room - a bit busy. I do like everything in this room, just overall too brown!
I love this with interesting features that you notice when you cast your eyes around although the LHS corner looks a bit bare. Nice use of colours and textures with the rug making it feel tactile and warm. Love the tiles table - again it appeals to my love of mosaic and tiles (stoneware). Interesting lamp, not ordinary.
Lots to love about this room and the colours, interesting pieces and textures. Sofa stands out nicely alongside the feather lamp (I have seen these online and was interested). I quite like the boudoir feel! I'm not sure about the stags head - I don't mind the gaudiness, in fact it may be that it's not big and bold enough - if you're going to go over the top... Love the rug for pattern, colour and texture. Yep love this but walls feel a bit bare!
Love the eclectic feel of this room - the chairs are lovely, as is the rug, for pattern and textire. I'm not sure about the settee as it doesn't look comfortable but I do like the contrast of colour between it and the cushions. Lamp should maybe have more colour (are you a fan of tiffany?!). I love sculpture but maybe not the guitar in this picture. Not sure about letters on a wall either.
I absolutely love this and hope I'd be brave enough to go ahead with something like this should you suggest it. Would be a migraine if it was in a big room though. I like barrel-shaped animals...pigs, bumble bees etc! Agan, if you're going to be bold, embrace it is what I would say to myself. The yellow-green-red theme works well in this example as not a brand new feel.
I like this room although not sure I would if the colour of the books wasn't so well chosen. I think the cushions on the sofa should be more interesting - furry purple/yellows etc.! Like the plants and light fitting although not keen on stuffed animals about the place! Not sure if wire furniture is for me. I do like the dark walls offset by the light floor and ceiling.
Please - no leather or vinyl seating unless its a rather excellent chair :D The room could do with a bit of a tidy but I think I like everything about this with the pottery, books & nick-nacks. Nice use of plants and interesting pieces to discover, each able to hold it's own place in the room. A bit more of a bold colour somewhere, some added texture and an interesting light would be fun.
Okay - that leather chair is good but would prefer it before the dog had got at it. I'm not sure of the lamp bases but I do like the variety on show here - as an office I'd prefer some book cases or shelves and a bit of a "library feel". I think we can do better than a skull as a centre piece bu, overal, yep it's good. Maybe some extra texture from a rug or wall covering?
Yep I like this one too, apart from the white furniture - too difficlut to keep white, especially if I get pets. I'm not sure of the shelving units, there are probably better ones out there (although I can't explain more here on "better") and I'm not keen on the spindliness of the two orange chair frames - I like their cushions though. I liek the "zebra" chair.
Yes I very much like this - feel it needs a rug though. I like the simple pattern on the curtains alongside the colour of the plain walls. Maybe a plant or two more as well as the cut flowers (and let's be honest, I'm probably not going to keep up the cut flower thing on a daily basis - maybe dried!). I like how the colour and texture of the basket and then of the bench stands out well from the wall.
I like the colours, art/nicknacks and textures in the front room and how those give way to a cooler smoother room beyond. The big box is a bit too brutal. I like the hanging lights and the bookshelves in the far room. I like the grey wall matching with the grey flagstones yet everything is light.
I'm not a fan of the nestled tables nor the enamelled log burner but like all of the other pieces - I feel as though it needs a bit of a finishing touch with a splash dominant colour somewhere.
I think I want to get away from L-shaped settees but otherwise I like it's texture and colour along with the throw and rug. Wall-mounted TV is more practical as long as there's certainty on the orientation of the room. I might forego the disco ball in the lounge. Are the chairs on the left and the shelving units 50's style? If so, I don't think I'm a fan.
I'm a fan of the bookshelves but I think the position of the tv and speaker detracts from the room and fireplace. I like te dark wall colour of the chimney breast and the white of the window wall. Does it need a rug (that doesn't look like a bacon rasher)? I like the texture given by the fireplace. Again, nice and airy but not sue how we would achieve that in my house.
Feels a bit tame - all tasteful if a bit bland. Nothing objectional - maybe that's the problem, nothing challenging.
Yep nice, nothing wrong with this, but like the one before, all a bit tame - needs lifting somehow. I feel if I sat in this room too long the colour would leach out of me and I'd need one of those chairs that helps you stand up...whiff of Werther's originals in it's current state. It's not bad, just needs...something...
Tasteful but needs vavavoom again. I like the bookshelves and colours as a background, needs something to brighten it up. Like the previous two, I'd be very happy with this in my house but needs something a bit outrageous, like that feather lamp in one of the early pictures...something...
My first thought...f@@@ me that's a big telly. Also, another L-shaped settee about which I'd need some convincing. I do like the colours and textures, the leather pouffe or whatever it is works here. The wall light fittings work in this room. I can't see the dark ceiling working in my house though. Love the textures in this room and that rug. I do like greys it seems. Think it needs some vegetation.
I like this room - I think that's a table and would need to see it from another angle to decide whether I like it with that rug - maybe its the combination I'm not sure of. Also, separate settees would be better I feel. The room does feel a bit skew-whiff / unbalanced due to the position of the furniture and tv. The dark and lighter greys with the white look clean with the brighter colours reflected around the room in the rug, painting and cushions.
I like the rug for colour and texture (and position in the room). Other than that, its all fairly unmemorable/ Needs some colour and needs to relax. Also, it feels too impersonal - for the majority of time it'll just be me here - I'd feel like I was waiting for the rest of the presentation team to turn up.
Feels cramped - I'd like to see this more as a reading corner with a standard lamp, small table for my tea (and inevitably reading glasses), a plant or two...colours and textures nice but again needs something to lift it.
Love: light and airy; grey tones; accent colours provided by the plants; textures! esp the rug; the wooden duck on the far table. Not a great fan of glass topped tables.
