Love: light and airy; grey tones; accent colours provided by the plants; textures! esp the rug; the wooden duck on the far table. Not a great fan of glass topped tables.

Q

Photo

Again I love light and airy but not sure how we'd do that in my house. I like the light bedding but not crinkled edges. Not sure of the gingham headboard. Like the dark chair against the white wall, but not the white lamp against the white wall.

Q

Photo

Lots to love in this picture but not necessarily together. Individually I love the drawers and the basket; I like the carpet, but not together. I like the texture and colour of the blind. Don't like the lamp colour or design. Like the white linen.

Q

Photo

Like the light and airy feeling and different colours and textures. Like the book space and lamp colour - feel that there should be some more bold or striking colourful piece in there somewhere.

Q

Photo

I love the colours and textures; lovely shade of blue for the wall and door - not sure it would work in my house? Love the chair and lamp. I do like bookcases although I wouldn't include the TV in this set up. Like the textured rug.

Q

Photo

Nice floor - I like how the wood is used/polished but feels a bit cold. Not sure about this room, feels too bare and single purpose - I like pool but wouldn't dedicate a room to the single purpose. Would look to add more comfort. While I'm not sure about the pictures they do add some focus.

Q

Photo

Love the patterns and textures in this room; also the tones but feel there needs to be a more stand out item/area. I can see that you're combining sitting and eating areas - I like them individually but not combined in the same room - a bit busy. I do like everything in this room, just overall too brown!

Q

Photo

I like the colour of the table, but not the table itself. i like the pictures individually but not how they are arranged - it feels too much like just filling a space haphazardly. Light and airy again although feels a bit cold.

Q

Photo

Bold and brown! Like the use of plants to offset - feels a bit too much like a hotel lobby. Okay use of a circular space with a good light fixture and rug mirroring.

Q

Photo

I like tiles and mosaics so quite like the table - blinds feel a little too '70s, a decade I'm not a great fan of! I like the use of the windowsills / radiator covers.

Q

Photo

Hmmm - I like the blue rug's pattern and texture - maybe the green of the doorframe but not much else. The light orange and pinks aren't to my taste - I'm not against a patterned wallpaper per se - are we looking to wallpaper a house like mine?

Q

Photo

This is fun and bold - I'm not a fan of gold. Mid tub taps are good, towel rail a focal point. I think I'd tire of it soon though.

Q

Photo

Love these colours and combination, also the textures. I find this interesting and draws the eyes. Yep, like this.

Q

Photo

I love this with interesting features that you notice when you cast your eyes around although the LHS corner looks a bit bare. Nice use of colours and textures with the rug making it feel tactile and warm. Love the tiles table - again it appeals to my love of mosaic and tiles (stoneware). Interesting lamp, not ordinary.

Q

Photo

I like the stone colours and tones although not a fan of the wallpaper. Again, I like the hessian type rug. Intersting candle holder/stand - I do like a candle.

Q

Photo

Lots to love about this room and the colours, interesting pieces and textures. Sofa stands out nicely alongside the feather lamp (I have seen these online and was interested). I quite like the boudoir feel! I'm not sure about the stags head - I don't mind the gaudiness, in fact it may be that it's not big and bold enough - if you're going to go over the top... Love the rug for pattern, colour and texture. Yep love this but walls feel a bit bare!

Q

Photo

Love the eclectic feel of this room - the chairs are lovely, as is the rug, for pattern and textire. I'm not sure about the settee as it doesn't look comfortable but I do like the contrast of colour between it and the cushions. Lamp should maybe have more colour (are you a fan of tiffany?!). I love sculpture but maybe not the guitar in this picture. Not sure about letters on a wall either.

Q

Photo

Nice rug, nice blind, nice use of colour and pattern but not overly keen on the shabby chic thing in this one. Not a fan of the mirror and the flat wood, and shape.

Q

Photo

I like the use of colours in this - brown and white but then accents in the candlesticks, painting and over the top chandelier. I like th thing on the table (a bowl?) and the use of the silverware to bring in some light to a darker corner.

Q

Photo

Hmmm, what do I like here...the comfy chair and pattern with the accent cushion (I'm tryign to talk like an interior designer :) ) I'm not sure of the colour combinationof the room with the blush with the grey. I like the pottery / glassware.

Q

Photo

I do like everything about this room - colours, textures, interesting things wherever you look. Looks more comfortable. Maybe a bit busy.

Q

Photo

I absolutely love this and hope I'd be brave enough to go ahead with something like this should you suggest it. Would be a migraine if it was in a big room though. I like barrel-shaped animals...pigs, bumble bees etc! Agan, if you're going to be bold, embrace it is what I would say to myself. The yellow-green-red theme works well in this example as not a brand new feel.

Q

Photo

I love the idea of a wow factor in the entrance hall. I love the stone floor and pattern. I'm not sure of the patterned wallpaper. Some nice textures here and the use of stone and wood.

Q

Photo

Love the cushions. Hate the headboard and painting! Please no horses :D I like the lights and pictures, the wall colour works well to highlight the headboard, I just don't like That headboard. Bedding works well for colour and pattern.

Q

Photo

The brown lights are interesting, the bulldog bust and large vase too. The single chair in the far room on the LHS looks to have an interesting patter - otherwise, not for me this one.

Q

Photo

Lots of interesting individual pieces, light and airy with splashes of colour. Nice few plants around. Some nice pottery and pots. I like the industrial style of the lamp.

Q

Photo

Not a huge fan of the standard lamp, bookcase and picture on the wall but like everything else about this room. Interesting patterns and light and airy again. Ah, not a fan of the table - not a great fan off clear glass tables.

Q

Photo

I like this room although not sure I would if the colour of the books wasn't so well chosen. I think the cushions on the sofa should be more interesting - furry purple/yellows etc.! Like the plants and light fitting although not keen on stuffed animals about the place! Not sure if wire furniture is for me. I do like the dark walls offset by the light floor and ceiling.

Q

Photo

Please - no leather or vinyl seating unless its a rather excellent chair :D The room could do with a bit of a tidy but I think I like everything about this with the pottery, books & nick-nacks. Nice use of plants and interesting pieces to discover, each able to hold it's own place in the room. A bit more of a bold colour somewhere, some added texture and an interesting light would be fun.

Q

Photo

Okay - that leather chair is good but would prefer it before the dog had got at it. I'm not sure of the lamp bases but I do like the variety on show here - as an office I'd prefer some book cases or shelves and a bit of a "library feel". I think we can do better than a skull as a centre piece bu, overal, yep it's good. Maybe some extra texture from a rug or wall covering?

Q

Photo

Yep I like this one too, apart from the white furniture - too difficlut to keep white, especially if I get pets. I'm not sure of the shelving units, there are probably better ones out there (although I can't explain more here on "better") and I'm not keen on the spindliness of the two orange chair frames - I like their cushions though. I liek the "zebra" chair.

Q

Photo

Yep this is the most oven ready room so far although I'd like to see a risque piece or colour or something. I like the radiator. I'd need some convincing on the wall colour combination, but not too much. Nice patterned and textured rug.

Q

Photo

yep as a continuation I do like this. maybe from this angle I'd be keen on a brighter sofa or cushions - something to draw the eye from the obviously beautiful fireplace and the lovely pieces in there. I feel more comfortable with the wall colours in this second look.

Q

Photo

Yep I like everything about this room, apart from maybe the choice of artwork on the wall. I like the tones, colours and pottery lamp with shade. The furniture looks to be more high quality antique which I prefer to the shabby chic in earlier examples. Light and bright, some nice textures.

Q

Photo

I'm not a fan of the BAR piece nor the mirror, but I like the chair and sideboard with colours that compliment each others' tones and they go well with the blue on the wall. However, I think the blue on the wall would make a larger room feel too cold.

Q

Photo

Yes I very much like this - feel it needs a rug though. I like the simple pattern on the curtains alongside the colour of the plain walls. Maybe a plant or two more as well as the cut flowers (and let's be honest, I'm probably not going to keep up the cut flower thing on a daily basis - maybe dried!). I like how the colour and texture of the basket and then of the bench stands out well from the wall.

Q

Photo

I like the colours, art/nicknacks and textures in the front room and how those give way to a cooler smoother room beyond. The big box is a bit too brutal. I like the hanging lights and the bookshelves in the far room. I like the grey wall matching with the grey flagstones yet everything is light.

Q

Photo

I'm not a fan of the nestled tables nor the enamelled log burner but like all of the other pieces - I feel as though it needs a bit of a finishing touch with a splash dominant colour somewhere.

Q

Photo

I think I want to get away from L-shaped settees but otherwise I like it's texture and colour along with the throw and rug. Wall-mounted TV is more practical as long as there's certainty on the orientation of the room. I might forego the disco ball in the lounge. Are the chairs on the left and the shelving units 50's style? If so, I don't think I'm a fan.

Q

Photo

I'm a fan of the bookshelves but I think the position of the tv and speaker detracts from the room and fireplace. I like te dark wall colour of the chimney breast and the white of the window wall. Does it need a rug (that doesn't look like a bacon rasher)? I like the texture given by the fireplace. Again, nice and airy but not sue how we would achieve that in my house.

Q

Photo

Feels a bit tame - all tasteful if a bit bland. Nothing objectional - maybe that's the problem, nothing challenging.

Q

Photo

Yep nice, nothing wrong with this, but like the one before, all a bit tame - needs lifting somehow. I feel if I sat in this room too long the colour would leach out of me and I'd need one of those chairs that helps you stand up...whiff of Werther's originals in it's current state. It's not bad, just needs...something...

Q

Photo

Tasteful but needs vavavoom again. I like the bookshelves and colours as a background, needs something to brighten it up. Like the previous two, I'd be very happy with this in my house but needs something a bit outrageous, like that feather lamp in one of the early pictures...something...

Q

Photo

My first thought...f@@@ me that's a big telly. Also, another L-shaped settee about which I'd need some convincing. I do like the colours and textures, the leather pouffe or whatever it is works here. The wall light fittings work in this room. I can't see the dark ceiling working in my house though. Love the textures in this room and that rug. I do like greys it seems. Think it needs some vegetation.

Q

Photo

I like this room - I think that's a table and would need to see it from another angle to decide whether I like it with that rug - maybe its the combination I'm not sure of. Also, separate settees would be better I feel. The room does feel a bit skew-whiff / unbalanced due to the position of the furniture and tv. The dark and lighter greys with the white look clean with the brighter colours reflected around the room in the rug, painting and cushions.

Q

Photo

I like the rug for colour and texture (and position in the room). Other than that, its all fairly unmemorable/ Needs some colour and needs to relax. Also, it feels too impersonal - for the majority of time it'll just be me here - I'd feel like I was waiting for the rest of the presentation team to turn up.

Q

Photo

Feels cramped - I'd like to see this more as a reading corner with a standard lamp, small table for my tea (and inevitably reading glasses), a plant or two...colours and textures nice but again needs something to lift it.
