two tone house
color blocking. do garage all dark and the rest white
silver border
dark windows on light siding - do I like this or not? do all windows have to be the same?

love me a banquette

Concrete step down from back entrance extends to the pad where the firepit is. In my case this is where the sleeping porch goes?
horizontal siding
colour, simplicity
House as it is now
This may be the one! I like almost everything about this. This view would work for my front of the house. The siding, the colour, the foundation, the size and bulk of the windows. The deck here is more something that gives me ideas about the egress at the back of my house,
awning for front door and windows to the left. Perhaps repeat on the back of the house. I like the look of this, but perhaps adds more height and takes away from the 'nestling in the landscape' change I want.
metal awning supports
Awnings over front door windows better than the more dramatic one to the left, but would need some corbel support.
Future sleeping porch to replace a large pergola in the back. I have a 20x20 concrete slab on which to build, although would like to create a platform that reduces the number of steps required to get down to that ground level.
LIkewise I have elevation challenges in the front and am thinking of starting steps up at the sidewalk, so there it is fewer steps up once you are at the front door. I also like the poured in place concrete pavers idea. So plantings, walkway to street, large cement pavers, minimal lighting are all good here.
starting to step up from the street
the way the driveway more seamlessly integrates to the yard
