1st floor: do we tile across entire wall?
Q
backsplash & white tile & mid-tone wood for downstairs bathroom
don't like high contrast w/window trim
how to use glass & wavy porcelain tile together
good inset, like long rectangle & off white tile in background w/different texture
like the pale green color & white together in downstairs bathroom
don't like silver around edge of insert, not thrilled w/wavy tile inside insert
no subway tile in inset, no wide border around inset
don't like the contrast tile on the top, but inset is OK
white tile, white countertop & wood cabinets - light grey tile looks OK
floor tile in shower (small) vs. large tile outside, grey floor + white waves, subtle outline of inset
tile goes to ceiling & insets are not a contrasting color
how not to use contrasting tile
example of what I don't want w/accent stripe
like the wave tile & floating mid-tone wood vanity - not sure about contrasting mosaic tile band in shower
argues for wrapping white tile around both ends of the shower - don't like only back wall with wave tile
combines both types of tile I like
shows that white wave tile wrapped around end can look ok
definitely don't like mosaic tile on ends of tub
definitely don't like band of tile on end of tub
backsplash tile
Wave w/bands of plain tile at top & bottom and silver skinny tile
plain & wave tile bands, fish scale time, large tile on floor, small mosaic tile in shower
like using same tile for inset
accent on wide wall
tile surrounds window
