All wood is stained and all metal is black

Q

Photo

black posts

Q

Photo

baseboard is painted a different color...not suggesting this, just to show what happens with colored trim and then the window trim & door teim should match

Q

Photo

baseboard shape

Q

Photo

wood floors, white baseboard, white window trim, trims are not flat so look at color only

Q

Photo
Photo

The stairs are all wood on this but frankly, I may like the wood only tops on the stairs and white in between. I think that looks more modern.

Q

Photo

I think this is the concept we're looking for with the internal stairs although query whether the stairs should be all wood and not white on the side, plus darker stain

Q

Photo

I'd rather have the color of the wood stairs and the wood on the hand rail match. Is this now the white will look for the riser and the side of the stairs?

Q

Photo

3 materials

Q

Photo

this is even closer to your look with different colors

Q

Photo

look at gray siding and real wood siding together. common design theme on west coast. I think gray siding is vinyl

Q

Photo

I don't like th board and batten siding on the house. You're right, it does look like a barn.

Q

Photo

Red is probably too much at the front of the house and next to the brick, but how about for the extension for the master bathtub? That is against gray siding only. Does that tie the back of the house with the brick in the front?

Q

Photo

An example of a mix of vinyl siding and vinyl shingle siding. Not sure I like it about each other and next to the shingled roof but side-by-side may be a possibility? Are these kind of shingles not Asian, however?

Q

Photo

closer look at vinyl shingle siding

Q

Photo

Is vinyl shingle siding an option for the places where the shou sugi ban was going to be used? Horizontal but a different texture and maybe a different color.

Q

Photo

I am thinking about black square posts to replace all of the resawn timber porch & stairway posts. also note the blending of brick colors and how the black window frames pop. These are steel frame windows.

Q

Photo

slats for railing around exterior stairs as designed

Q

Photo
Photo

Idea for hiding AC compressors and permanent generator.

Q

Photo

I like the pull out drawers.

Q

Photo

Interesting to see only wood-topped island with white-specked countertops. I don’t think I’d want all wood. I still think I look stone counters and island top.

Q

Photo

Colored cabinets with wood is interesting. I never thought about wood counters and wonder how they wear.

Q

Photo

Flecked or softly veined white goes with many things and is not harsh like solid white but still brightens the room. Can counters be that color and island countertop have a color?

Q

Photo

this is a 6 ft vanity with the tub beside and the wall with the artwork could be open shelves in your bath if the tub is 5 or 6 feet long.

Q

Photo

this vanity is 7 ft might be able to add 1 foot to bath to do this

Q

Photo

Each vanity shown is 6 feet with the tall cabinets

Q

Photo

This open stair is similar to your stair if you imagine you are standing in the basement with no bookcase on the upper staircase.

Q

Photo

Don’t like subway tile but do like higher hood for stove if I don’t do a down draft.

Q

Photo

Interesting storage cabinets at the back.

Q

Photo

Compare to photo 80 - underside rail is lighter but don’t like thinner rail plus rail is not continuous as is the case with 80

Q

Photo

Nick’s favorite b/c of continual nature of railing and color of wood

Q

Photo

Not the stairs but the landing concept I like,

Q

Photo

Glass barrier and black railing inside the glass plus wood floating stairs

Q

Photo
Photo
Photo

Show difference between railing on glass and this with black edge on glass.

Q

Photo

Like railing along glass

Q

Photo

Rail on inside of glass railing is good way to prevent finger

Q

Photo

Don’t like very light wood with black suspension rails

Q

Photo
Photo

To show suspension with no middle rail to hold stairs

Q

Photo

Close up view

Q

Photo

Just to see glass railing with no edging.

Q

Photo

Gray cabinets with light wood floor and floating stairs.

Q

Photo

Second view of stairs

Q

Photo

Lighter wood with black-edge railing

Q

Photo

Other open stairs with glass railing

Q

Landing for open stairs

Q

Photo

Ideas for floating stairs with glass rails

Q

Photo

I like the green and light wood colors. I don’t like the V-shaped pattern on the floor.

Q

Photo

Consider green cabinets and light wood floor

Q

Photo

Same flooring going from dining area to kitchen

Q

Photo

Colored lower cabinets and lighter upper cabinets

Q

Photo

Just a note for what stepping stones may look like

Q

Photo

Mirror and exercise bar for basement

Q

Photo

Idea for basement and area for drinks

Q

Photo

Like the handles on the cabinets

Q

Photo

Stairs coming down to basement and area underneath stairs

Q

Photo

Better view of play and entertainment area

Q

Photo

Mix of ping pong and entertainment area

Q

Photo
Photo

Consider wine storage on the end of the island.

Q

Photo

I like the sage color on the island.

Q

Photo

M - Open railing instead of solid wall and still have display case at top of stairs and states hanging

Q

Photo

like shelving on bottom stairs. Maybe match the flow of the stairs more tho.

Q

Photo

M - like the idea of wall on one side and open on the other side. Or one side bookshelf/display cases the other side open.

Q

Photo

Reminder to incorporate place to hang wet clothes that need to drip dry.

Q

Photo

Office in landing between bedrooms

Q

Photo

Stairs that have art along the wall

Q

Photo

Color and patterned tile

Q

Photo

I found the lighting on the two big paintings interesting.

Q

Story

The contrast idea for working with red brick was interesting.

Q

Photo

I like the idea of a breakfast nook. Query whether I could have one at the dining room window. To deal with AC compressor on the left side, could there just be a wall on the one side of the benches and windows only on two sides?

Q

Photo

I liked the color of these cabinets and style. Green is a Hartline color so the color of the countertops and island top is interesting. Not sure about the natural wood bottom of the island with this look.

Q

Photo

I don't like the color but I like the style of these cabinets. I would like light cabinets with a dark countertop. I saw a champagne color cabinet I liked but the style was all wrong.

Q

Photo

I liked the idea of a breakfast nook in this. I thought it is an alternative to just the formal dining table and island chairs.

Q

Photo

I liked the windows in this space. Not really looking for sun lights.
