Our Grandparent House
I like the fireplace stone.
I like that the kitchen is a shorter ceiling to add warmth and interest to the great room. I don't like how dark the overhead beams are. would like them more like this house's look
stained concrete
John, do you like this peg board wall idea for your hunting room? Don’t know if it would be strong enough but I love that you can adjust as needed
maybe a frosted window to give it an outdoor feel?
it would be cool to have a sun tunnel or sky light over the shower so it would feel outdoors
I like the built ins by the bed but not other bedroom storage. Everything to walk-in
Needs warmer wood tones
Love that copper or whatever it is in the center. It should have a mantle as dark as the ceiling IMO
O.M.G!!!!
Gorgeous
I like the warmth of this more than the coldness of the other one showing the side area for table.
don't like all the ceiling stuff but love the warmth of the floor with the wood mantle
LOVE the warmth and the cleanliness of the white coupled with it. Also, LOVE that we'd be able to have a small eating area in this design.
how cool would this be for the grandkids
I like the warmth of the beams but the easy cleanliness of the floor and the white shiplap ceiling. BUT not so shiney
I just love this whole area. It is just so stunning and welcoming.
These cables if we need to protect kids from falling off
I've noticed that a lot of houses have a 1/2 bay on the side of the garage that is for storage. I'd like to have a special area that is bright but with no windows so nobody realizes what is inside it. I'd like it to be cedar lined and possibly with a washer/dryer so John can keep all his hunting stuff together and scent free.
Kids room with each having a curtain so they have their own dedicated "room" at our house
I like the staircase so nobody feels like they have to climb a ladder to sleep at Lolly and Pop's.
I want to have a built in bookcase that opens to the grandkid bedroom side of the house. I don't like a jack and Jill bathroom so I'd like a hall with br's 2, 3 and bath off of it. Each of the kid bedrooms big enough for 4 built-in beds big enough for teens at least.
Love the idea of a spot we can put all our shoes on low profile shelves
I want a tile shower but no need for a tub. We will have one in the second bathroom for babies. I want the toilet to have it's own room.
This is far too big for our bedroom. I want only room for our bed and side tables along with one glider/rocker. I want a bigger walk-in so that nothing stays in the bedroom but the bed. Also, I want the laundry room to have a door into the walk-in closet (one with lots of shelving and glass doors - for dust control- on each and only one hanging bar.)
I'd love to have a flex space that we can open to have an additional area for family dinners or close off to be office area
These are the drawer fridges
