Only looking at how they did panels next to arched windows with plantation shutters. Maybe an opportunity to actually add panels to my guest bedroom. That wall needs something to balance out and soften the heavy furniture on the adjacent walls.

Rug--as long is it's not scratchy. I used a Stark rug in my former living room that looked similar to this. I like the warm, neutral tone. Possibly something like this for our family room rug replacement?
