Design History
Rome - Laurel Wreath Motif: This wreath is a classic motif used in the Rome time period. The wreath was used as a head piece worn by many in that time period and it being wrapped around this round mirror reminds me of it being on top of someone's head.
Greece - Doric Orders: This table is inspired by the Greek time period because of the design of the legs looking like a specific style of Greek order - the Doric. It looks like pillars that were used to build Greek buildings. Also, there was very little color used in Greek architecture time period.
Neoclasical - Sheraton Chair Backs: The backs of the chair remind me of the emphasis on detail that the neoclassical era tried to express
