418 Kitchen
*E1.5: Original idea of corner - love how its one...unclear if the most practical, but lends an idea about making a cute built in cubby-door feature disguised as wood clading going down "on top of the backsplash" with then low stone backsplash on to of that with a decorative knob. this is instead of a full length cab taking up counter space. also unclear what is possible going into the wall cavity in the corner. Just an idea.
*E3: Enclosed version of the plate holder?
*E4: Ledge for all backsplash areas and rounded built inesque cab - would be perfect for hutch’s esp first one... Possibly a staggered approach as well where you're in plane with chimney breast then go in to appliance garage with rest of counter, then back in plane for bottom of course.
*E5: Broom closet for Fridge if 36" is used
Hood idea: fireplace trim but stone for hood
Alternate Paper towel holder
Asymmetric endcab setup - not bad
Exact Paper Towel holder and drawers with bag storage behind dedicated bin areas
Hood but with stone and wood trim
Great Green
This is the best green*** one of my favs of all the time
Plate and bowl options and anything sim for upper cabs?
Zero space between cabs and door trim** yes
Trim: must determine proper portions for trim based on depth of smallest cab...the bottom portion must fit with it. they're top depth to bottom isn't right. Important to maintain the historical portions of the inspiration trim.
Similar Trim design but our top piece is smaller and bottom bigger.
Similar trim design
coolest hidden setup
Paint the non-cab Trim a different color
Floors and vibe but not white ?
Setbacks why ? And Endcabs for entire kitchen? **All full length caps should be cladded in stone at bottom regardless of location. *** consider use of tiny drawer setup in photo to help assist with what should be the dynamic juxtaposition between the double crown and cabs
color - could be used for non-cab trim
Endcabs used for ends of kitchen.
None of that busy for absolutely no reason in the corner - way to ruin they had. The setback or proud moments be
This trim is the most sim I’ve seen - their pirortions are all over the place / wrong through
Counter ..interesting
Ahhh yet another of the same
One of the few examples of proportionally sound non-cab trim ….raises the question : is the width of non cab trim determine by the width of the smallest cab?
Yikes: must make sure trim and cabs look seamless . also of note: there trim crown is too small and base trim way to big and boring
The vest place above the fridge probs for make up air
We could use the upper or lower portion for non-cab areas instead of “good” negative space. Also must determine the size/proportion
Made me realize that it’s the setback between the upper and lower that makes 418 kitchen’s trim extra special
Trying to think of ease to integrate those cute cabs into the stone modular design /or slight flair
Hate it - But** make sure to check and recheck this trim looks meeting Cabniet s how
Great stone
