Mudroom storage doesn’t have to be enclosed. Hooks for coats, space for shoes/boots, storage for winter accessories in higher shelves?, surface for mail/etc. though maybe one enclosed space to store broom, vacuum, cleaning supplies could be useful since they all currently float around the house
Some version of single handle, pull down faucet with a strong spray setting.

Backsplash - though I’m starting to lean towards some color differentiation between backsplash and cabinets, ie not white tile with very light/white cabinets
Slide outs to make accessing heavier/bulkier items easier

Mudroom bench for putting on shoes, shoe storage, hooks. If open to kitchen, I like the idea of moving cat food/water fountain into this space.

Corner bench / lots of windows

Mudroom open to interior space but still a sense of separation

This is kind of interesting. Mudroom separated by half wall into kitchen

Love pretty much everything about this - connection to outdoors, seating area, hutch, butcher block.

Location of this bookshelf is kinda cool

Corner bench and windows. (NOT the horse legged bench!)

It looks cluttered, but for some reason I’m drawn to it. Possibly the New England antique colonial style which I love which

Could consider island/breakfast bar/counter eating area if it was somehow separated from food prep area and lower than stool height seating. Ideal configuration seating for at least 4 facing each other

Colors are nice, but mostly the upper cabinets feel integrated in the space with the vaulted ceiling rather than just floating on the wall.

It’s a little dark, but looks like a comfortable space with a smaller footprint. Island is nice

Colors (blue, white, wood)

Cozy. Probably use another color for bottom cabinets. Like the bookcase. Backsplash too grey.

We’ve previously talked about the possibility of a wall of shallow pantry cabinets sort of like this to not take up lots of floor space

Nice mixture of colors/materials. Don’t want open shelving (or at least not that much of it)

Nice looking mixture of colors and materials. White upper cabinets ok, but probably wouldn’t want bottom cabinets white.

Reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen. Upper cabinets with latches filled up the whole back wall to the ceiling. This particular picture feels maybe a bit too cluttered (also no yellow please!) but also cozy and homey.
