like the umbrella's here, not sure about the boulders along the back side of the pool and the interaction with the trees in the back - does this make sense for us?

plants on a wall... lots of opportunities but I am not sure of the best plant/planter combination for the area above the sheer descent/scupper area.

I don't think we have the room for something like this, but would like to discuss "pergola zoning rules" with you and/or shading over a dining area.

This type of scupper/sheer descent is also a consideration. I like the opportunities with the plant and the interaction between the pool tile and the sheer descent, while also leaving room for pool coping.

Maybe this type of scupper makes more sense instead of sheer descent?

It it possible to use this stone (or similiar) for the sheer descent into the pool? I like the tropical nature of the stone and the interaction with the plants.

I like the walkway pavers here. I have tried sourcing things like this (cut oolite or hemingway) without luck. I did find a source in Miami for oolite, but shipping is $1000 and not sure it is worth it??

I am not sure if we have enough room, but I like the "boulder and plant island" near the pool.

I like the way the boulder and the travertine work together on this. I also like the use of the grey smooth rocks to delineate between the two and also at the step.
Q

I like the travertine layout and the coping around the pool.
Not sure about the travertine below the coping and how well it will "stand up" nor how to properly implement it.

I like the plants on top of the wall, the travertine wall.
Not sure about the scuppers or the lack of pool coping.
Travertine boarder idea?
