House exteriors
Covered porch that extends into passthrough to garage. single step out of house to covered area, and another single step to patio. A way to avoid continuous steps.
Simple arbor adds so much. I want to add one to front of garage. Again, i like the neutral stone with blue/green shutters, white trim.
Connection to garage. Rough warm stucco with white trim.
low rise long tread stairs to a deck
Skip the pool and can envision the wall of French doors opening to patio and gardens.
Back of one of my favorites, which looks much bigger than photo of front suggested. Love many elements, including the trim, stone accents, window boxes, covered porches
Cut off far-left section and maybe could do something like this within space constraints. I like the covered entry with double doors and room for bench (if not so many pots). Steps First one or two steps appear to be low rise, with long distance before next. Could do something similar to allow for my use of walker.
These appear to be steel in blue/grey graphite tone rather than oft-seen black. Also appears to be painted brick with a little more texture than some. rustic wood accents.
connecting house to garage; garage has architectural interest
Love triple French doors opening onto back patio
house without the garage. I also like some interior features of this house.
I love decorating for Christmas. Love these tall French doors and this covered entry could accommodate a bench on one side.
Obviously much grander than we're discussing. I found in article on metal doors/windows. I like the limestone walls and rustic beams in this porch
multi-ppurpose covered porch with retractable screen (I think
Dramatic stone entry with double doors. While glass pained, the alcove provide sense of privacy. While the two story entry looks fabulous, my house will be too small for this feature and a less imposing entry makes more sense. Could have a similar stone entry without the upper section, scaling down but maintaining entry that accommodates covered seat and potted plants.
I like that described as "eccentric Dutch"
I like the sheltered covered patio and the painted brick
I like idea of connecting house to garage with some kind of covered arbor
Looks to have retractable screens. Great indoor/outdoor gathering spot
