Another floor tile? I’m trying to visualize. :0( struggle lol
Tile floor
Pantry ideas
Another lovely tile
If we did do tile, this is what I’m talking about. Not a big pattern, just a clean smooth neutral where we can add rugs
Do we have room for this layout in the upstairs hall bath? I need help figuring out how to order a bathtub like this. Do you just pick out a stand alone and then they tile around it? We like the fixtures and also the concept of the tile but not the colors. We like the look of the glass door. I'm not sure how it would work?
I couldn't believe we found an off centered fireplace like ours. The mantel looks nice.
We can imagine that we might have seating for 4 with their backs to the fireplace and facing out the sliding glass doors. brent and I are debating if it makes sense to seat two others on the side with their back to the sliding doors or not.
while this isn't a perfect representation of what we want, it might be similar to our island in that the end might become a table and the sink might be at the end of the rectangle.
brainstorming storage/pantry for kitchen
This is the overall style we want in the house and this kitchen is close to what we want, especially the contrasting counter colors, the wood cabinets including flat fronts and hardware, and the white walls. I think we would like some upper cabinets, but not enough to make the room dark. If we need the upper cabinets to be a different color we are open to that.
Brent likes the visible towels. We should have those somewhere.
We like this door and these shelves. Not sure where these shelves might go, maybe hall, maybe kitchen downstairs, maybe bathroom
Another bathroom that we like
Our basement kitchen will be white cabinets and wood countertops. It doesn’t need to be IKEA but it shouldn’t be as nice as the upstairs.
We like this
These are lovely
The vanities and fixtures are appropriate
In doing shelving, the wood element is really nice. Again we love the natural elements (stone, wood) interacting.
The hallway to the side door would benefit from this type of built in. We could include many of our display things from travels or military.
This is another house we liked. We are especially interested in incorporating the sea glass and the frosted glass. Frosted glass might be a fun contemporary thing, because as it goes out of style, it’d be easy to replace it with clear glass that always seems popular.
We would like to change the door to the laundry room upstairs. I think this one would be nice, ideally as a pocket door.
This door is a nice option for some of our external doors. We might prefer a wood tone for the front door, but we are open to a color. We notice the trim on the windows is black here and in the kitchen. That would be a major overhaul to change all our windows to black. Is it necessary for the style? We would prefer not to.
Nice color
A contemporary version in the downstairs hall for storage, may end up being shelving or a closet - quite a bit of room, but still a secondary entryway.
Again Brent hasn’t seen, but I think it’s pretty
Lovely, I understand it’s not slippery. That would be a game changer.
These floors might work - Brent hasn’t seen yet. Mainly, we aren’t looking for pattern but a beautiful neutral.
This pullout drawer might be especially useful at our espresso station (we went ahead and bought the espresso machine - heaven!)
Nice cookie sheet drawer
Something like this for the laundry room Also forgot (unrelated but wanted to note) we need a solution for drying dishes in the kitchen
wood finish?
