Living Room
I like the framing above the fireplace Jim - Are you still on board with having the television behind cabinet doors above the fireplace? If so, that detail can be added to the front of the cabinet doors. I also thought about doing that above the wall paneling or on the wall opposite the windows. If not there, what do you think about doing that on one or two of the walls in the sun room???
I dislike everything about this room; monochromatic colors, cool/cold feeling. What do you think about the window treatments? That type of layering is what I am thinking of. Shears under curtains. I am not a huge fan of the curtain rod within the curtains. I prefer to have the curtains hang from the rod on clips or rings... I like grometts better
Formal, cold, does anyone actually use this room? People who have their home's photographed... The kind of people who have grown kids and eat dinner out 5 nights a week What do you think about the wallpaper? Specifically wallpaper in general? Paint above the wall paneling is an inexpensive way to have a statement wall, but wallpaper is coming back in style and a fun way to have color and pattern... Food for thought
Warm and inviting yet fun little pops of color that are easily switched out. Jim - That is exactly what I was talking about. The pops of color are all accessories and pillows that can be changed if you every want to rather inexpensively The beams are almost exactly what I was thinking of. I would want the stain color to match the existing wood floor color
I don’t like these blinds at all; wrong feel for the space. Jim - fair enough, but what do you think of the style? I like Roman shades for people with small children. In my lived experience, small children like to use curtains as grab bars to assist in getting up or walking around. The downside are the chords. They can be choking hazards unless properly secured and out of reach What do you think about the molding around the television? I like the idea of being able to hide the television, but when you watch it, which will be open most of the time. If you liked the picture frame molding around the painting in another image, what do you think about it around a television with a big chunky thing above?

Kris - Warm and cozy; neutral. Love the crosbeams
The sheers and blinds fight with each other Jim - I agree, but what do you think about how the curtains are attached to the rod? Rings that is...
