Lake Keowee House
Here is what we like: The variated height/elevation of the gables, stone color is light, slightly rounded front entry with large front door where you can see through to lake, windows / dormers above garage, the colors of the garage doors and shutters. We also would like a 3 car garage. I believe this house is 4800 sq. feet. We are looking to build a 5700 - 6000 sq. ft. house.
What we like: The 3-car garage. We will want it deep enough for boat trailers and will finish the space above the garage. We like the light colored stone and roof, the dormers, and gabled roof variations. We do NOT want a Shake roof and not a fan of the siding. We will want to look at options for driveway material.
Love the stone color and the many windows
We do not like the curved doorway (refer back to photo #1 which is the style we like better). or the sloped shake roof.
Like the set up of exterior of house. Garage on the right. What is this bump out on the left? Could be what our house looks like from a positioning standpoint.
What we Like: the stairs coming down; decks top to bottom. flat grassy area; waterfall feature; curved arches on lower half of walkout; dual fireplace, nice railing, drop down screens on top floor. No need for the seating wall. Possible options: bump out master to add door and add open air deck to upper outdoor entertainment area. We will need space for a hot tub. Love the stone choice.
Like the storage garage and path down to the lake as well as the outdoor shower.
We would like an Outdoor shower
love the windows/retractable screen, WIDE hardwood floors, bead board ceiling, like the location of fireplace (not blocking view of lake) but not the stone. The fireplace is on inside....so you push it out to gain additional space???Probably put stairs leading down
like the pitched ceiling - this is a different look with the beams. Can be discussed but I think we like the bead board. We can talk about an ourdoor grill. Wide hardwood flooring is nice as well as the color of fireplace stone.
Love all of this! Just replicate. Love the curved stone, bead board, blue flagstone Note: we need space for a 7 person hot tub
We like the previous design better with the arched stone. Again, love the openess, the bead-board, the placement of the fireplace. We might do flagstone at n this space?!
The Swing is a nice added feature
Current front door we have in Cincinnati. Love the large door with curved look.
We would like a wall of shelving , hooks and drawers below in the mud room. The bead board or paneling is a nice touch.
Like the arched openings
Another nice large window with no grid lines.
What we like: beams are nice....not too heavy, stone of fireplace is in more of the grey tone which we like. shelving , lots of windows (no grids), hardwoods have potential but I think are too light. light fixtures are nice.
Like floor to ceiling windows without window grids and hardwoods. Do not like the fireplace
Outside deck area outside master bedroom
Like the sliding door / balcony from master bedroom
Like the windows that face out to the lake (may eliminate the 2 windows beside the bed. We will look to add ClereStory Windows in the home to add natural light. Prefer carpet in bedrooms. Want reading lights above the bed.
Do not like the beams in master.
The door leading to outdoor deck...Yes, after speaking with Kevin, we will want to add this space of an outdoor balcony. We do not need a "sitting room" in the Master bedroom if we are curtailing space.
I like the ceiling
Like the grey cabinets too...is this color trending?
Hate the chandeliers but like the color of cabinets
This is Tile that looks like wood. This is a good option.
Just don’t know what I want in master...do I go dark cabinets or light? I currently have a cream.
rope lighting on dimmer in master bath
Another nice color for possible guest bathrooms. I like nothing else in this photo
We do like the color of these bathroom cabinets. I do not like the open towel area nor would we need the paneling on the walls.
This basement feels small, but do like the curved bar. We will want space for refrigerator and microwave.
the built in pool rack holder is a nice touch
