How rustic of flooring? Should it match the exposed wood beams?

Different color wall in back of bathroom?

I like the modern look (shelves, sink, floating cabinet)

Industrial bathroom shelving

Looks neat, also has "his and hers" shower heads.

Would we consider a faucet that comes out of the wall?

Do we want some sort of movie hallway? It only leads to the theater...
Q
Photo
Here's a little brick in the theater. Also, do we want to enclose the seating area like this, or do an open sectional, or try movie seats?
Q

Do we want any sort of platform seating?

Stone around screen

Where can we benefit from mirrors to make rooms look bigger?

Combination of brick and modern

Another brick wall kitchen.

How "clean" do we want the kitchenette? Should we look at fancy stuff like this that hides items like the microwave or coffee maker? It might actually save us money as opposed to countertops.
Q

How do we feel about interesting shelving instead of upper cabinets?
Q
Photo
Kind of like what I was thinking, but darker wood and brick. What about the wood ceiling? Are there drop ceiling like that?
Q
Photo
Wine storage and TV among upper cabinets. I know we won't need the wine storage, and probably won't need the TV either, but just to start thoughts on things other than cabinets in the cabinet areas.

Stone + Wood

A bit rustic.

Just looking at stone.

I like the little counter/tasting thing. We may not have room, or prefer to spend our room on more storage, but it makes it more interesting.

It's important to remember to have different styles of wine storage like this one (the Xs, the cubbies, the slanted ones) to show off the nice wines and mass-store the cheap ones. Also helps to organize them by type and whatnot.
Q

We tossed around the idea of a soda, beer, or wine tap in the kitchenette.
Q

Would we benefit from having smaller wood beams going perpendicular in some places?

Another brick wall kitchen.

Built in cookbook shelf?
Q

This is something we could pull off.
Q

I like a few things here. The drawer-shelf-drawer style cabinets. Setting the counter in to make it look like a bar. The color contrast of having the inside of the bar area darker.
Q

Random thought: what if we did a lazy Susan type thing in the wine room?
Q

Could match the idea for the wine room.
Q

I like the stairs and shelving.
Q

I like the contrast and unfinished look between the walls and the wood kitchen.
Q

I like the clean black cabinets and the different gray tiles.
Any wood walls?
