Surely not a primary entrance but entirely welcoming.

Welcome home... for like 300 years or so..... Remarkable preservation.

Talk about making an entrance....

Once again "Good is in the details", intricate design details seduce you in the gate.

Love the contrasting yet complimentary colors differentiating the structures. The positioning of the structures creates a welcoming feeling.

I love the inviting use of a hallway as a library and gallery. In NYC I've seen foyer's serve as home office/dining room. Open functional space.

Nice to come home to for nearly 300 years I'm guessing.

The weather outside is frightful.

I had a good deal of difficulty deciding which idea book to add this too. Perhaps I need to add a "four seasons" idea book. In any season it says "Welcome home".

Nothing says welcome like a porch.

Honey, I'm home.
Ok Ward, dinner's almost ready.....

I'm tempted to write, "Where can I get those trees"? I'll resist temptation and just say how fortunate the owners are to have such magnificent trees framing their entrance.

Court yard is indeed courting me. Love the gate's narrow and wide components. It would seem to me that the home owners got exactly what they were looking for. Beautiful mix of materials, textures and color.

I'd love to see the entire project. This is masculine and very inviting.

Great bones in what is clearly a period home. The décor is crisp and light.

I already feel at home here.

Love the feeling the blue ceiling gives as if it were a porch converted to living space. The screen door that mirrors the panels of the six panel door is a perfect example of attention to detail. Leaving the large opening at the top allows for wreaths and door decorations to be displayed as well.
Charming entry.
