1st Floor Ideas
earthy pop of color, fireplace
I am liking this tall table idea, behind the TV area. It's a nice place for J to do an activity if sitting is more challenging that day, also nice for me since I like to stand and move from room to room
We'll need a setup that's more durable, but I like the colors and the wood. We'll likely want something set up like this in our front room?
I like how the stools are tucked away under the bar
I really like the rugged, light stone/brick walls. The coffee table - not so much.
I love the artwork over the mantel, also all of the neutrals/woods/beiges
built-in bench, enclosed fireplace, wood elements
wow, stunning. bold wall color and art
corrugated aluminum wall, fun papasan, cosy industrial feel
A little more stark/cold than I'd like, but I like the wide nonconventional fireplace shape. and the neutrals
I like the coffee table and the simplicity of the fireplace (though not the final look of it).
wood, modern, streamlined
Barn door - good for mud room?
i really like the big planks of wood for a large, long eating surface
I LOVE this - stone, light/windows/air, wood, neutral tones, layered textures
evocative! layering of rugs and throws
unique ladder on the wall
wood & stone
pops of color
texture on the wall
wide floor boards, ceiling detail, spaces defined by diffrent materials
wood table, brick archway to define spaces, ceiling detail, wood of different colors
ornate room divider wall!
fireplace behind the dining room table, ceiling details, blend of colors
wow, that's a lot of screen space!
Earth in the house!
exposed brick, cool front door
interesting wall cutout and color
Barn door for front entry closet?
Pantry door! Maybe door to mud room?
BARN DOORS!
Is something like this possible under our front stairs, would it fit with our plan?
very interesting light fixture - looks pretty resilient! :) also kind of heavy :(
Neutral + contracting tones
cozy, WARM, NATURAL, NEUTRAL, lots of light
i'm not a fan of this particular one, but tagging that i really like barn doors!
wow, contrasting white/black and clean lines. a little too cold/industrial for me, but I like the exposed ceiling painted black
Bedroom, sure, but also an idea of how to use structural elements to keep decorative items out of Joshua's reach
the patten on the stair risers and the lighting are both really fun!
