Keeping the dark wood beams in the basement as such is a nice idea if it can be lit well enough.
Given the low ceiling height, an open concept may be necessary. However, we are worried about sound traveling between the basement and first level (especially with the TV being down there).
I love this shower enclosure because it reminds me of a NYC loft apartment
I like the window in the shower, the textured tile on the shower walls, glass shower door and the color/style of the fixture. I don't like the floor tile -- it's too modern/funky.
I love the tile contrast, sinks, wall mounted faucets. Love the natural wood cabinets -- look at all that storage!
I love the penny tile (the tile shape and contrasting color) as well as the bright fixtures.
I like the craftsman exterior and the covered entry porch. The porch isn't huge but provides some shelter from the elements and a chair to for an adult to sit and watch kids or read the paper.
